0.6.0 The downloads are available at http://www.criticalsecurity.net/oldies/livecd as always. You'll find direct links to download the ISO and the md5sum, as well as a torrent file to download both files from our seeds.

A few points to note about this release:

- The version bump to 0.6.x from 0.5.x is primarily for FLYinstaller. The 0.6.x will have the ability to be installed onto a user's hard drive. Though there are still some quirks, and the compile install is still not functional. I also figure some of you were getting bored of seeing the 0.5.x versions
- The FLYinstaller's manual partitioning now uses gParted. The reason behind this is that at quick glance I found no way for fdisk to re-size partitions, whereas gParted can do this fairly easily.
- gParted has been correctly compiled with all the extra filesystems support that was supposed to have been compiled in 0.5.8 For some reason, it didnt get compiled correctly in 0.5.8
- StyleSwitcher is fully functional in this release and is implemented more as a proof-of-concept than anything else. I hope to see users making modifications and suggestions to better it's functionality. (Yourmysin, could you edit your background image and remove the 'FLY' and logo please?) I masked further kernel updates as my current .config file has settings which clash with kernels 2.6.26 and above and cause FLY not to boot. I'll be looking into the config at some point in time and testing it with the latest stable kernel. For now, FLY is going to be limited to 2.6.25-r9 with the Gentoo patchset.
- Tests of 0.6.0 showed Audacious failed to run because of an error with D-Bus. D-Bus was pulled in by the latest version of Audacious. Prior to this it wasnt part of FLY. As a result to this, the command 'dbus-uuidgen --ensure' is run during the install. Audacious runs now.
- Tor in Firefox seems to have been broken for a few releases now. Im not sure why. I revived our unused bugs.CS and filed a bug for this. I'd appreciate if anyone could look into this. The bug is here: http://bugs.criticalsecurity.net/bug.php?o...ow&bugid=16
- Truecrypt version 6.0a has been re-added to FLY, and now with the standard GUI, the same as found in the Windows version.
- I fixed Sid's VNC/start script to correctly start multiple VNC sessions. A simple fix in the variable from $1 to $i
