The FLYinstaller has two primary installation methods:

Quick - which will simply copy the LiveCD to the hard drive, and slap in grub.
Compile - which will download the source to the LiveCD and recompile it to the hard drive.

Compile is the better way to go, but also much much MUCH slower (think about 7 hours of compiling), and requires downloading a gig and a half of source. And it's not completly coded yet. For that reason, I wrote up the quick install. It's the 'quick and dirty' style.

Yes, you'll get some "errors" once FLY is installed to the hard drive. For on, at the start of boot, a complaint about v86d. Ignore it.
Then again when /etc/issue loads at the end of the boot process, it talks about /dev. Ignore it.

FLY worked fine in VM tests for both me and Sid.
